So, I'm working on this for my Illustration Methods class and I'm at a point where I'm pretty much.... stuck. I know it's not good enough to be finished, but I can't figure out what to do with it. So, tell me what to do. It's due on Tuesday so.......... Yeah. And for some stupid reason, I made the picture in RGB colors, instead of CMYK, which means it's probably going to print like shit. Unless I've got my color formats wrong and RGB is the one that's good for printing. Then I'm not screwed.
But ANYWAY.... Yeah.
EDIT.
I changed some things, tell me what you think! I still REEEEEALLY need critiques/comments on this so I don't hand in two super-crappy pictures. I am much more satisfied with this verison, although I feel it could probably use some more noodling.
Things to keep in mind: I will not be changing the angle of the mirror-frame, as it was the professor who specifically asked I skew it and seeing as how he's the one who grades me, I think I'm going to keep it that way. Also, the picture inside the mirror is to help give the picture depth, so you can understand that it's a 3-dimensional room. However, I couldn't figure out what to put in it, hence the stick-figure batman. Also, in the CMYK version, the darkest part of my hair is darker. This is the RGB version and is only ever so slightly different as far as colors go. It turned out that a LOT of the colors changed and it was kind of annoying to go in and fix so much of it.
With that out of the way, please, give me your comments and whatnot. RIP INTO ME. Be vicious, I can take it. I'll even thank you for it. Keep in mind that this is due tomorrow [and I need to print it sometime before 8:00 AM so I can catch my train in time] so if you could comment speedily, that would be great. I also will probably not tackle anything that will take me longer than a couple of hours to do, since... that's all I have. But don't make that keep you from saying something, because I will work on it past the due date to make it an actually good image.
Double-Edit.
So, since nobody brought anything to the table, I ended up pretty much printing this version. It's what will be presented in class tomorrow. I'm definitely going to work on it after that, though.
Dadgum it, if I was a better artist I'd know what to say, but I'm not so I can't. If I was to look at it with my little knowledge, I'd say it was fantastic. Good luck however

I don't think your skill as an artist determines your ability to use your eyes. =O.o= But anyway, thank you. Please, if you change your mind, or you see something, or you just plain' get grumpy and need to rip someone to shreds, come on back and give me a good ol' art-beatdown. I'll thank you for it, I promise.
ANYTHING. I'm at a complete block and I've been staring at this damned thing for the last three days working on it and I've gotten so involved that I can't see what it all looks like any more. So please, if you have ANYTHING to say, I'll take it.
Well I'm not sure what style you're going for, but the colors don't seem to match or blend. More than anything Batman's color and the wall's color. The hair seems to be right, but the frame of the mirror is a little off, but I can't tell if the frame's color or shade needs to change. I hope this helps you some

Hm. I think your issue with the frame is that the shading I used for it is completely different than what I used for the rest of the picture. I don't really think it works, either, so I'm going to change it. I think also it needs a little bit more definition so it separates from the mirror portion better. I think I'll also make the frame's color darker, since it's taking away from the main focus, which is Batman. [it's color is too light to really give any contrast.]
I gave the wall a pinkish color because I feel like most people paint their bathrooms soft pastel colors, but... yeah, there's something about it that bothers me, too. I think though that I'll change the frame first and see how that affects the other elements around it. And I just realized that Batman should have a cast shadow on his face from the nose-portion of his mask, so that should probably be done.
I tried to make it so that the colors on the outside were darker, and more intense, and make it so that Batman had the most light on him and therefore, the lightest colors.
But see, you helped me out a bunch already! Just by saying some things just didn't feel quite right, you've already given me a better idea as to what I need to do to improve it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Oh come on Az, I KNOW you can find at least some kind of something somewhere that you don't think looks right. The other picture I did for this same due date looks like shit so I'm really trying to make something good for the second one to prove that I'm not COMPLETELY incompetent. So come on, put your grouchy pants on and RIP INTO ME.

Eh, you're not using vibrant enough colors for it to look shittastic in CMYK. If you convert it over in photoshop or such it should be fine.
I like it as is. Nothing else to be done.
