Don't give up.

If you were able to zoom in close enough, you would see how lazy I got with this.
I'm thinking about making it my DevID. But then again, I'm also not.

30 minutes sketching
1 hour inking
6.5 hours vectoring.
Adobe Illustrator CS

Friends don't let friends vector in Photoshop.

Lazy? No such thing in vector art. Plus if you're lazy then I am emperor of lazy because I am just... Really bad with the vectors. In photoshop anyway.

Noice. I like the S arch of her back all accentuated like that. Impressive details, too.

Yeah, I guess it is kind of hard to be lazy with vector art, since it takes so damned long to do something of any sort of quality. But, for me, this was done increadibly lazily. I had orinigally started doing it more detailed and defined, but then I got so tired of it that I just left it simple. Which I ended up liking, so it was okay. But if you could zoom in to look at the stockings closer, you would see that the stripes are done so halfhazardously that it's ridiculous.

Tsk tsk. Vectoring in Photoshop. It's like a crime against Illustrator!!!

I can't figure out Illustrator so I just stay away from that.

It's actually really easy, especially if you've figured out the vector/pen tool in Photoshop [which I actually find to be much more difficult to use than the entire illustrator program.].

What are you having problems with in illustrator?

Maybe I'll write a tutorial for the program... Hm.

No problems, just lazy. If I can figure out Photoshop on my own, I'm sure I could figure out Illustrator as well.

I'm just too lazy to try it.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha! That's so funny. I'm the same way most of the time. I figured out Photoshop on my own because I was bored and wanted to color things, but didn't have any crayons. However, I was required to learn Illustrator for my Graphic Design class. Really, I find it to be some much more simple than Photoshop. It just takes so damned long to do things if you're a perfectionist. Or easily distracted.
